Make your plans now to join us for Kristina’s Studio of Dance 42nd annual recital "What's New at the Zoo" on June 1, 2018! The recital will be at the Sherman High School auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm with awards at 6:30 pm.

Classes

Ballet: A study of classical ballet techniques needed in all forms of dance. 


Pointe: The dance on pointe, or "toe dancing" as it is popularly called, is part of the art of academic classical ballet. It is the ultimate in technical attainment for the female ballet dancer.


Tap: Rhythmic ability and coordination while learning fundamental steps advancing to intricate footwork and rhythms.


Jazz: A high energy, technically based class which helps develop strength, flexibility and good body lines.


Lyrical: A combination of ballet and jazz teaching dancers to interpret the lyrics of the song through movement.


Technique: Class emphasizing terminology, strengthening, flexibility, body lines, balance, precision, stage presence and the overall ability to perform.


 Hip Hop: A high energy dance class which incorporates structured moves from street dancing as well as movies that are seen in music videos.
